    wise decision. Have you thought about getting into a 98-02 ls1 car at all? The prices are way down right now, good time to buy! We might be picking up an 01 black TA 6 speed with 35k miles here any week. Its been at the auction the past 6 weeks and hasn't sold, we've been top bidder a few times, he'll let it go soon!

      im assuming he has spent so much on getting his v6 looking good that he wouldnt want to get an ls1 car, 98-02 v6s are super cheap, let alone the older ones.. couldnt get much for the old car.

        the 93 Fbody is the ONLY YEAR they put a 4l60 in place of the 700r4, the plugs DO NOT match, in 94 they went electronic therfore the 4l60e.

        when the trans in my 93 ta went i suched for a replacement, and didnt find a thing, so i had my stocker built

          4L60=700R4. Same transmission, just had two different names. Thus, I call it 700R4. 4L60E=Electronically controlled 700R4.
