Starting Nitrous Install!!

there are a ton of ppl on camarov6.com that have a dry setup, some in the 12's and all spray before the MAF

Well I went over to Ty's house today and we installed the nitrous kit. It turned out really good. Engine bay is hard to tell there is even nitrous hooked up. Ty will have to take pics once he gets wire loom on the wires that are showing and puts his nozzle in once he gets the correct jet.

It soon should be taken out some v8s, lol.

what kinda HP number's is he gonna be lookin at? and how much spray? like a 75 to a 100 shot?

starting out with a 50 dry shot, he will need to upgrade the fuel pump for anything over 75-85 dry shot if he wants to go higher.

also I took off his speed limiter and changed his fan settings for the 160* thermo while we were at it with my HP tuners

that's sweet!...so how fast is a sprayed V6 exactly? i mean like comparable to an LS1..or an LT1...or what?

dry sprayed v6 will hang with a stock lt1, wet could give it a run. With my 75 shot wet and a lot of knock I ran low 14s. Depending on the lt1 I could beat it or be close. LS1s, thats another story. I would need my 100 shot just to be close to one and that would need to be an auto ls1. lol

lol....well, atleast you know you'll be able to beat GT mustangs with out a problem! even if it's "just a v6" that's cool as hell in my book to spray it! i would honestly love a 3.8 F-body for a daily driver...but it would end up bein just as fast as my SS if i had one lol

once I am out of college I will make it into a 12 sec car, maybe even an 11, but for now I will settle for 13s this year.

Ill be taking pictures at the end of this week, once i get it all buttoned up...ive got to get the jets still, and i think im going to start with a 50 shot just to get the engine ready, and then bump up to a 75 for now...later this summer i could get the upgrades to spray a 100 shot...

Ill be going to the track this spring/summer sometime and will have to see what times ill get spraying

I hope once i start driving it and run up to a rustang GT I can beat him(or her ya neva know)....
