hey whats going on guys? as for the motor its stock so built by GM . i dont no if i will make it to the machine shop this summer. they are starting to get over ran by work orders and will not be able to touch my block for 4 weeks. by time I am done with the kit they will be 3 mounths backed up. unless a Good shop is not backed up I will have a glass motor for the summer.lol.

As for the turbo. My turbo is $899 base new in box drop shiped from BW to my door with a one year warinty .

So is their any shops that can do my block work for $750?

Well next week i will have a few more pics. I have the headers and sub frame conectors.

BTW . Is it with in the rules to sump your stock tank and run 10.0 at milan? or do you have to by a fuel cell? I dont want to take out my sub box to make run for a cell to fit.

cost on that turbo is about $500, majestic turbo sell's them for like $550-600 depending on AR and T4 or T6 8-O
i paid around $700 for the machine work on my motor and that was the good guy price paying cash to a friend of mine that does side work... pistons and rods cost me about $800 for some decent stuff at cost again. and then figure another $150 for some good bearings, another $200 for main studs and head studs, few bucks for gaskets through out. probably need some valve springs and push rods at the very minimum (another ~$350) not to mention machine work takes some time no matter where it goes....trust me it adds up quick. my expected "goal" date is the end of may but i don't see it happening still, too many little things and not enough hours in the day.... good luck on it though. oh and if you sump your tank....well....fuel parts are expensive too...

that sounds like a good price on your work. I got my qoute for a motor machine work for $750 at detroit speed I.E. livernois motor sports in dearborn. head work is looking like 450 for labor.

right now i am not trying to get out of hand with my buget. so i just realy want a clean bore to mount some pistons , 3.48 stroke , and new cam bearing. the stock like cam is good for 550 rwhp or 10.8 in the 1/4 mile . i am sure i am not going to be runng to fast this year. I mean my fast car i have drove is a stock 97 gt mustang.lol.

so just some 6inch rods, d cup speed pro forged, cosmic mls, and some roller rockers with push rods is all i realy want to do with the motor. I can only do so much in a year.lol. let alone making my mid june dead line i have set.

so has anyone seen this car riding in detroit?

my bad, didn't realize you had an S480, different turbo. anyways, turbo builds get out of hand and retardedly expensive very fast.

Draco is on Motown, clean looking car for sure.
