indeed, look at francis's car, goes 9's and as far as numbers, it doesn't put down anything impressive, the chassis just works great.

Yeah, I'm wondering how long the rear will last too.. For now I am not going to launch on spray, going to have 1st locked out. I have no traction in 1st with just the motor. So we'll see next year what it runs. If I get some 15x10's for it then I'll try some launches on spray(and pray..lol)

You could always pick up a spare 10-bolt for cheap "just in case" and see how long your stocker lasts. Could be a fun experiment.

nah it'd be a complete waste better to use that towards a 12 bolt or 9". Personally I've heard of people breaking them from 2nd to 3rd as well with that kinda power, but thats pretty rare.

many people with auto's go 10's on the 10 bolt. They do OK on auto's unlike sticks. use a et street instead of a "radial" cause they soften the hit to the tire. Many vette guys use et street instead od et street radials to keep the half shafts in one piece.
Steel wheels are heavy. the new street star from jegs is heavier than prostars but use the acorn nuts and will fit over the stock brakes
