Check post on tech about worrying about boosting while driving untuned.....

Car looks great and car sounds good. If i were you i'd check into just venting your BOV, will make it louder if u like the noise. Now i have another TT LS1 buddy on board, even both being stock engined Twins, your car sounds totally different from mine with open exhaust. You will be surprised also how much the sound changes when adding exhaust. Lately i've been driving around with cutouts open (open DPs). Its much louder, but boy oh boy does it sound like a jet Glad your loving it, boost FTW!

No not yet. Couldn't afford guages this month and still pay off my card balance. I already had to put a bunch of this on a 0% card for a while.

Hell yeah boost rules!!!! I am seriously considering leaving space for cutouts. They will have to be added later. But it is kinda fun with the noise. Just don't like the fumes. I stink from just driving it 20 miles today.

I am hoping next week I will be able to do those. Things keep getting delayed due to availability. But do not worry, there will be plenty more vids! I have 4 old tires that need to be smoked up!

Came home today and the replacement rear wheel was here. Threw it in the car along with the tire and off to Belle Tire. Got it aligned this evening and mounted the 4th tire. Unfortunately PFE was full so they could not park my car inside there overnight so it is back home tonight. Not one to waste an evening, out came the BFH and off came the old rear tires. Did some massaging and got the new wheels to fit! Woohoo! They look SWEET!!!!! Unfortunately I lost daylight so had to drive to a parking lot to get some shots. I will have to get some daytime shots later for everyone. Drop it off at PFE tomorrow for the exhaust work. Then she will be ready for a tune!

Driving it today put a non-stop smile on my face every time I heard those turbo's. I LOVE IT!!!!!! Just had to be careful to shift around 2k so I did not build any boost. I am sure there was a little because I could hear the turbo's and BOV's every once in a while. It ran a little warmer than before but stayed consistent once it got to a temp. Topped off the coolant tonight after checking it again. Should be fine from here on out. But I will probably check it a few more times just to be sure all of the air is burped out.

I always thought turbo's worked off of load put on the motor. I always thought if you didn't load up the motor(AKA not a lot of throttle) you could get the car to the limiter with out building even a single pound of boost. This is why I thought Turbo guys ran high gears(lower numerically) is because it put more load on the motor thus helping to build boost.

That thing is going to sound killer on the street when you can get into it. My buddy has a 91 Dodge stealth twin turbo. At the Metro cruise we got onto US131 and took off. I could hear the turbos, and blow off valves when he was about 50 yards behind me. That was with my cut-out open, and t-tops off, going 70 miles per hour. I could only imagine what a twin turbo LS1 sounds like. However I bet your car wouldn't be behind like the stealth was.

Snapped a few shots of the wheels in the daylight for everyone. Dropped the car off today to get the exhaust done. Should have it back by Thursday. It will be a sweet set-up! I will definitely post more pics of that.

u need to put a eibach prokit on it to drop it a little, but other then that, yer car is sick as hell, i love it

PFE over on the east side is doing the exhaust. 3" Y to a 4" over the axle and back to 3" outlets with bullets near the end. It will all be flanged and clamped so I can take it off to service the car. Cause I know there will be a new rearend and clutch in my future!

Lowering springs are planned for next year along with a 12 bolt or 9 inch rearend. Gotta pay off the current mods first. And finish things like the gauges. Also have those monster brakes. This may be a busy winter for me in the garage! I have lots of plans. Just need to save the $$. Thanks for the complement. I am very happy with the way the car is turning out. Finally getting it the way I have wanted it for a long time.

Picked up the car from PFE with the finished exhaust today. Looks and sounds sweet!!!!! They did a great job. It is a 3"Y at the front into a 4" pipe down the length of the car and over the axle. Back into 3" outlets with bullets in the tailpipes. They gave me an O2 bung for tuning and even made up a better floorpan brace in the process. They were also kind enough to trim my bumpstops as we discovered I had not done enough BFH work to them once the car was on the lift. They welded flanges on the downpipes, and clamped everything so I can disassemble sections of it to service the car. I had wanted twin outlet tips but none were available today so I have the single outlets. May switch to the twin tips later on. Overall I am VERY happy with the look and sound of the exhaust. Can't wait to hear it once I get the car tuned. More vids will definitely follow!

Next I drove it over to drop off with the tuner. We had to fix my EGR blockoff as it was leaking and messing with the idle. We got that all squared away. Phil will tune it and put it on the dyno tomorrow. Unfortunately I am driving to NY tomorrow morning so I won't get it back until Sunday and won't be there to record it on the dyno. But it will be ready and done when I return! Woohoo! Might even have to take it to Milan on Tuesday for the track rental....
