Okay...how do YOU dry your car?

What kind of microfibers do you use and how often do you wash them? I've never had a microfiber smear/streak on me.

Microfiber is the only kind of cloth that touches my car, and it doesn't smear or streak anything. If its smearing, your car is still dirty. Are you sure you aren't talking about a chamois? I absolutely hate chamois.

Brian, I don't know if you said it in here or what, but somewhere you commented on how you use waffle-weave microfiber to dry off your car. I decided to try it since it would take like 4 or 5 microfibers to dry my car. Best 10$ I have ever spent. The one thing dries off the entire car. That is the only way I dry mine now. on that suggestion.

I must add...I finally bought a water blade this year and LOVE it!!!

be CAREFUL with that. I love those things too but i would be a liar if i claimed not to have made some scratches with them and i was careful from the start. The smallest little peice of crud is all it takes. I will not touch my camaro with one.

must suck to have a black car huh? I've used the water blade before in the past when i still washed my car instead of dusting it off, i took forever and didnt work that great, just wayyy too many curves on the ws6 hood and body that it was a pain to use it lol.

lol, my cat is never dirty for more then 5 minutes ...so i would probably go online and chat for about 5 minutes or get the xbox out and play some halo until clean

I normally drive around the block, start with patching out, force blows a lot off, then first corner at 45 MPH (square corners shake water off to side) then progress to 50 for second corner then 55 and last pull complete donut into drive way. Then back slowly into garage shut the door so police can't find me! LOL

ROFL, I use my water-blade when I can. Just keep wiping it off with a towel every couple of swipes and make sure you wash it off before you use it. Then Microfiber towel and chamois. I think the chamois polishes out those little impurities.

Water Blade rocks...it saves SO much time drying the car. I dried 3 vehicles in about the same time it used to take me to dry one.

WOOPS I hit micro fiber.. I use an absorber like Joel.. but I have only shown my car once so its does not matter to me..
