Okay....how do YOU dry your car?

Thought this might be an interesting poll after drying off my car this morning.

I use Micro Fiber cloths myself, sometimes a Chamois to clean up the dribbles.

Absorber. I have a water blade but i wont use it on my car because ive scratched other cars with it. I remember i wiped the blade off three times to make sure it was clean before I whipped it across some paint and left a huge scratch. there was a microscopic pebble that i think must have been on the car already. obviously you need to watch stuff like that but the point is that i was being cautious and still messed a car up, therefore i wont use one.

I use the spot free rinse then blast down the freeway for a mile.
Touch ups are done with a microfiber.

Depends, on what I'm doing. Going to a show or event I use a Chamois, then microfiber to clean up the little spots.

If its just a quick wash for a night of driving I may speed dry it down the highway and then microfiber to finish drying it.

I have a water blade, but it's really only good on big area's and like Joel said on paint especially you have to be careful of debri. So about the only area I ever used it on is the hood. However, water blades are great for windows!!!! So at least I'm still getting some use out of it.

I hate Chamois, they never seem to do the job. I've switched to all microfiber particularly on the Camaro. The 99 never saw a Chamois while I had it, only a water blade on the windows and microfiber on the paint.

Bathroom towels, though the paint on my car is similar to the paint used to create the lines on the road.

                its reflective!?! HOT!

edit: i dont consider an absorber a chamois but i voted for that anyway.

I DO use the air compressor to blow water out of water traps. microfibers to touch up, but not actually dry... so i didnt check that one.

Depends on the car. My 99 SS gets the leaf blower. My 69 gets the absorber. My wifes daily car, its lucky to get washed!

waffle weave microfiber drying towels. i would use a leaf blower so that nothing touches the paint at all.. but i dont have the money to get one or need it that badly.
