powerball works great on my wheels, the kit is expensive but i got mine as a gift, takes away the hand polishing of chrome wheels which is what i hate to do

Thanks for the advice guys! Sounds like this thing may be a big help this summer when I do my rims again - last summer I did all four by hand with a polishing cloth, what a PITA that was. They did look great when I was done, but I think I'll try the faster method this year.

I can't wait to try mine out on my rims. I picked mine up on clearance at Target for $13 for the big one.

10th. My wife is definitely feeding my "obession" by getting me all these automotive-related presents, lol. She first came to me and said she was buying me some redlines for the '66, but didn't know which ones to get. I reluctantly said that we didn't have the $$ so soon after Christmas to get the Coker ones that I wanted, so we should wait until spring. I guess the powerball was a small substitute while we wait for spring!

I was just watching a show on Speed and they had they the VP of Mothers on detailing a car and he actually had a Powerball for paint they showed. I've never seen or heard of it before this. The show appears to be a few years old but there's no date when I check the description.

i almost got one to polish my wheels, but i went with 4'' pads for my PC instead. ends up costing about the same/ little more after getting the smaller backing plate- but has a much more versatile use than a 'ball'

I've got the big one and the little one. The smaller one is great for getting in to my wheels, which comes in handy between Nevr-Dull uses. The big one I've found to be quite useless. You've got to use the same precautions with them that you'd use with any power buffer, especially with the hard plastic core.
