                $

dont have a job this time of year and I still need to buy gaskets, O2 sensors, bolts, cats and pay a shop to weld up either a custom y-pipe or true duals... havent decided what i want to do yet.

yea im gonna run all that emissions bullsh!t till it breaks because deleting them is permanent. if they ever break theyre going right in the trash can and a plug is going in the header. who knows though, the install might finish one or two of em off.

Yea...my car doesn't have the emissions crap anywhere! no cats...no EGR..."race LT's" with out the emissions crap hooked up. got the LS6 intake so there isn't a hole in the middle for the big EGR pipe!

what kind of exhaust setup are you running, single? duals? x-pipe/h-pipe?

Hooker Long Tubes. ("race ones no emissions") 3 inch "off road Y-pipe", no cats... single 3 inch runn'n all the way back to the SLP dual dual exhaust...with the SLP "center" mount exhaust. it's pretty damn loud. but it doesn't resonate or drone in the car at all so i love it. i was thinkin of gett'n something "louder" cat-back wise, but figured it was very unpractical, and wouldn't like it after a week of driving with a head ache so i'll just keep it the way it is till i get some kind of forced induction..... what are you looking into for the rest of your exhaust?...BTW those headers are NICE!!

i currently have an SLP 2OTL (supposedly one of the best sounding exhaust systems) with a DMH e-cutout mounted before the axle. Its an awesome setup for having stock manifolds and a cat - can definitely turn some heads when you want it to.

Im debating whether or not I want to keep the 2OTL and my single 3" setup or go with an x-pipe and duals. The 2OTL is supposed to be the best LT1 catback for headers as far as sound goes... ive had several people ask me if I have headers because they want to hear what headers and a 2OTL sound like. On the other hand, every car I have heard with an x-pipe and dual bullet setup dumping before the axle has sounded SOOO good. I would be sacrificing even more clearance with the latter though. Good thing is, I have plenty of time to weigh my options.

well you are going to beat me to it in the long run which is really all that matters.
