Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
any of you v6 guys know the cheapest place to buy headers...? from what ive seen the 3.4 headers are mighty expensive.
mainly want them for the sound, car should be a mean sounding 6'r after the headers
for the people that haven't herd it before heres what it sounds like now
please excuse my spelling... i went to a cathlic school.
Sounds good, I got a 3.4 with rk headers, and a flowmaster catback with no cat and it sounds mean. I think that pacesetters on texasspeed are a good deal...rk sports has some as well.

how was the install?, ive herd horror stories on other motors..

Tastyzr1 did the install and i believe it was a *****.
perfect , was hoping it would be a cake walk, but then again it doesn't seem like any thing is on my car, even things that should be easy seem to get complicated, usually break something, or something doesn't turn out right lol

yes putting headers on the v6s is a pain in the rear.
I am currently waiting to hear back from pacesetter yet if they will let me sell their headers. I sent my information to them and they said they would look into it. So I might be able to hook ya up with a pair if you wanted them.
If you are doing the 3x00 swap on your 3.4 anytime soon though you might want to think about the RKsport headers as they work with the 3x00 heads unlike the pacesetters.

im gonna be sticking with the 3.4, the pacesetter's are probibly better anyway, ive herd of the rksport's leaking? not sure if its true or not.

The headers that i make for the turbo's are easy to put on, on the 3.8 i have not messed with a 3.4.. im going to also make some N/A headers some time soon for all you guys that what to stay N/A.... on the 3.8L V6...

Worst part of installing headers on the v6 is getting the stockers out, the install of the headers part of it is a piece of cake
we need longtube headers for the 3.8l. there are tons of peeps waiting for them and nobody makes them. Clear Image Auto was working on a set and they scraped it. Abbotts racing did a one off set for their car and it sees amazing gains from them.
If you can make affordable longtubes for the 3.8l engine you will hit the goldmine, no lie. You won't be able to keep up with the orders.

why do you guys insist on spending money for performance on the 3.4....I dont understand?
sorry bud but read my first post again.. i didnt say anything about performance, and even if i was buying it only for the performance side of it, if it makes my car run better.... for me, its worth it!
