Pacesetter lists for "race" apps. (no egr or air) or std apps (with egr and air). What you guys say is the better bet? Stock LS1 with exhaust and a CAI

The race app with no Air or EGR, emissions suck we don't need that crap around here , and the one's with emissions setups are more expensive and take longer to install

That's what I figured someone would say. We just tore them off Kolin's LT1 and it's a PITA to get the egr tube to seal on the header.

i just did the race style QTP stainless lt's about a month ago and ripped off egr and air system. Just had to make a plate were egr goes into intake manifold and some black rtv. If u go that route recommend tuning out egr and air and secondary o2's if u get rid of your cat convertors like me. Havent done it yet but soon. Running sims for now.

Well I'd leave Cats. The plans for the car if WS6 car LT's, ORY, Catback, High flow filter, EGR/AIR delete, then just cosmetic cause I wanna keep the car the restof my years. If it's a Z28 I'll tear into the motor for H/C eventually

I have Race style and I would not go any other way, It is less weight and cleans up the engine bay soo much.

That was my other thing. I want to keep the car for a long time and want it to look good. I never pop my hood to show my engine off but I know it's clean.

I won't harm anything without doing a tune right away though, correct? I'd be getting a tune after LT's, ORY, Catback, high flow filter, smooth bellow, plugs/wires/coil but all that is over the course of a year. I'd like to do all my exhaust first and right away. If I'm goign to spend 400+ on a tune I only want to do it once

do they make the pacestter LT with just the air not the egr. or do i have to buy the air/egr kit? they dont make a air only kit?

i know everybody just takes them off but imjust seeing my options..

whats the process of taking the air pump system off anyways?

I have race style as well and wouldnt change it for anything. First off, it sounds amazing, second, cleans up your engine bay, and third... It gets those POS cats off and opens up the exhaust(produces more power)
