QTP are very nice headers...i have some Jet Hots or something...they're alright....i really like the pacesetters just because they are inexpensive and the fit is great...in my opinion though, long tubes are long tubes they all work about the same

Pacesetters are what I put on. It was a breze to install. Wmcc Al Jr. told me about them. He installed his in his garage, no lift, etc.

They do not hang low either like some other brands.

just finished mine actually. i had my pacesetters sent out to jet hot to be ceramic coated. they werent to bad going in, but the passenger side o2 sensor is very close to my tranny pan and my y pipe was bumping the transmission crossmember. all in all its an easier job and i love them, but dont like the sound of the exhaust now so im looking for a muffler.

Anyone else have any recommendations for LT1's? From what I've read Pacesetters are the best for LT1 cars.

It's not just what headers are the best. It's everything for an LT1 car. I'm trying to learn as much as I can before I get my car. I've spent the last 2 years researching nothing but LS1 cars and now I decided to get an LT1 car because I'm trying to pay as much up front at school as possible. So my budget is lower then I was really planning. I figure it's smarter to tool around with an LT1 car and have stuff paid then have like 40k in student loans
