I cant remember what the total bill for my custom/catted y-pipe was but i got the receipt at home. They tucked up nice though.

only pic i have of it with the cats still on:

Josh, yea I would go LT but i dont think its crucial either.
Thanks for the pic, I've been looking at headers for a while now and the whole catted y pipe is what's stopping me, and I guess I can shop around muffler shops to see how much they can do a y pipe for. Did u run O2 sims after the cat or just edited them out?

I no what yall are thinkingpost from the dead.lol. but i need some new topics or somethings. well any who.

i say if you all ready have heads their is no need on paying $500 for a pair of LT when u can get a cam, spray, stroker kit, porting and etc. cuz all you will c is 15-25hp over stock. so If you just say a lil more you can buy way better things.

i agree cam, spray, Drag radials, short throw, pulleys, port work. Def much more you can do with the money then put into Long tubes if you already have shorties.

1995 TA Sold. i sure do miss it though.

well I might as well kick the "zombie" post as well with my 2 P.S.I. I talked this over with my mechanic/horsepower guru buddy Dave and he directed me to a artical in car craft, basicly for where I am making all my power, the shorty/spagetti equal lengths I have in right now are the way to go since they make the largest gains in the high end, where all my power currently is.

              heres the article
              http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles...est/index.html

My thing is right now I am questioning what I even have in the car, are they shortys? or are they equal length? These look like shorties to me but some of the pipes go all over like they tried to make them as equal as possible
heres a pic of a new set

You would be correct sir, Appairently for where my powerband currently is they are the best bang for the buck, that might change when I get my tune and everything is running and flowing like it should. Right now its a dog till about 3-4 grand then it goes ape shit. I think that will stop when its tuned though. IM shooting for my next paycheck if all goes well.
