The 01-02 headers are the same as the 98 headers except they do not have an EGR hook-up tubes as GM dropped the EGR system in 01 when they switched from the LS1 intake to the LS6. The AIR connection tubes might be different too if I remember correctly between the years. If you are not hooking the EGR and AIR back up then yes the headers will work. Just get some AIR tube block-off plates and you are good to go. Of course if they are "off-road" or "race" style then it doesn't matter as the extra connections are not there anyway. But then they wouldn't be listed as 01-02 headers they would be listed as 98-02 headers.

If you buy Pacestter's from Texas-Speed Inc. you will automatically get the block off plates. I got some with mine and couldn't figure out what they were until Greg pointed told me. Also the O2 sensors, you're going to need to get the extensions. You only need 2 extensions b/c you don't use the rear sensors. You can either get the simulators, or have the code deleted. Don't bother trying to splice the wires together, it is a waste of time. Spend the extra 25.00 for the extensions. just my $.02
