Cam Install Underway

making 450hp is pretty much the limit of the "best of the best" you can make on Seans Mustang Dyno with a 346 H/C motor. with this exact cam and my patriot heads i made over 421hp at the wheels. we're gonna see if heads are even a factor, hence why we're just doing "cam only"....as of right now the intake is being bolted on, radiator is in next, and we're going on our second case of beer...progress is being made in more ways then one!

well we just finished like 20 minutes ago, Sean is flash'n the computer right quick just so it'll atleast run with the cam. and yeah the car already has an LS6 intake, Pace setter Long Tubes, ORY, magnaflow muffler, lid, patriot dual gold springs, TR hardened pushrods, LS2 chain and a big nasty aka "useless" cam....should be fun. gonna be firing it up as soon as the flash is done!

i think this could be a record for a head cam swap (still stock heads but we took them all the way off to do the springs...)

none of us have a video camera to take a shot of it though...and check my sig...we call it the "useless cam" because it's the same cam in my car that made terribly #'s

I helped jon swap his cam on his SOM TA just a few weeks ago. I was surprised how easy it was. you LS1 guys definitely got it easy. I get to pull my intake when i do mine ...

yeah it was kinda suprising getting it done in only a night...
