Granted I've only gotten a ticket once, but I didn't even know the officers still go to court... When I had my ticket, there was no judge and no officer, you just go straight into a little office with the city prosecutor and he said "Do you admit you were going that fast?" I said "Yes, I just want zero points. I'll pay the fines." He said OK and that was the end of it, zero points just a little bit more of a fine.

this is true, thats why I just roll the dice, if I get stopped for window tint so be it, I know Im in the wrong and deal with it by removing and retinting or just pay the ticket...which it cost me 20 bucks to retint my windows, compared to paying the current ticket prices

I wish I knew how to tint so I could just do it my self and not worry about the cost involved.

its not as hard as your think, some pratice and patience is the most important thing.

I realize that I am new here, however I cant just let this one go.
Look up "probable cause" and your 4th amendment rights. A law enforcement officer needs to have "probable cause" to not only stop you but even to just ask for your I.D. . As driver of the vehicle you have to give him your info but no one else does, unless you are being detained. If thats the case they MUST inform you of that. The can not just go on fishing expeditions and wait until you incriminate yourself. When they ask, do you know why I stopped you NEVER ANSWER THIS QUESTION, YOU ARE ADMITTING GUILT. Be respectful, always, but dont talk to them, you only get yourself in deeper.

Odds are if you act like that they'll make it worse then they would otherwise. I know they're not supposed to do that, but who is going to stop them?

And that right there is the problem. "They will make it worse for you if you use your rights, just oblige and save yourself the trouble" is the mentality that everyone has, and is starting to be an issue. Just go on youtube and do some searches for police wrongdoing, especially for traffic stops, and you start to see the complete disregard for your rights. I have watched enough of them, and had enough run-ins, to realize that there are a lot of cops that don't give two shits about your rights, and it has made me realize I needed to self educate to protect myself. I would suggest that many do the same.

Edit: It is because of this self education, that myself and some friends realized that the laws that the RO police force are citing to remove people off woodward are either completely made up, or they are quoting laws that have absolutely no power in that situation. Its amazing how quick a cop will shut up when you call them on their BS. Then you let them know they are being recorded just to be safe.
