does anyone know the primary length of the pacesetter LT1 longtubes? My genius friend wants to give me the perfect cam for my current and future mods. And he needs to know the primary length. TIA

I would imagine that the primary diameter would have a lot more impact on the cam choice, if any, versus primary length.Last edited by jetice; November 15th, 2012, 11:00 AM.

I would echo what all three of these guys have already said. To jeff's point, i think the only LT1 longtube that looks like it might be designed to be equal length are hooker super comps, also commonly sold as jet hots. Theyre one of the tougher headers to install, probably for that reason.-Joel

No such thing a perfect cam for current AND future mods. It's one or the other, and even then they are never really perfect. Cams are about compromise
