If you're able, I highly recommend getting the ARP bolts with a 5/16" 6-point head on them. Makes getting in there with a normal open end/box end wrench MUCH easier for the tight spots. Or if any other brand has that bolt size with the 5/16" 6-point head.

A few words of advice for you. Make sure both mating surfaces, head and header flange are very clean. You do not want any of the old gasket left behind. PB or Seafoam the crap out of the bolts before you even put a wrench on them as well. Also use a quality gasket. Don't go cheap, you will end up doing the project again a 1k miles down the road. After a few heat cycles you will need to re snug the header bolts. I would do it a few times in the first couple days of driving it and then check them maybe every couple months or so. Good luck.95' Formula: A4, 3.23'S, K&N CAI, Granatelli MAF, Trickflow Elbow, tune from previous owner. Best 1/4 of 13.91.

Bbk shorties, and only, I repeat only because they were free.Originally posted by CJOFORM View PostYa those are a good gasket. Just out of curiosity what headers are you installing?

Single cat or dual?
Edit: Just noticed that you have a 94. Single cat. BBK shorties came with their own y-pipe. You'll have to buy the y or get yours modified to fit.Last edited by hoogiesngrinderz; November 3rd, 2012, 06:33 PM.

I'll give the felpro's another thumbs up - been using them since 05 on my car, and the headers have been uninstalled/reinstalled a few times since. Still no leaks.Originally posted by Formul8d View PostYeah, I got them for free from a member on here. I plan to use Felpro 1406s which have been recommended 100x times over on just about every forum.
