I think Sam mentioned it was S&K Muffler who did it. Would never trust that shop, that's for sure. I measured the pipe after we cut it out and the "flared" side was 2.5" so the smaller side of that pipe must have been like 2.25" -- talk about a choke point in the exhaust.

Huge thumbs up for VHT Flame Proof paint. It's what I used in the pictures above. Last night when I was removing the quad tips to put my corsa clones on it I purposefully tried to scratch the paint off of the muffler with a box end wrench and it didn't even chip the paint. Now that I went through the bake process it seems VERY durable.

If you were running through a 2.25" exhaust before you were leaving a LOT on the table. I noticed a difference going from single 3" to duals!

I had my white truck done at S&K. They did a good job getting everything exactly where it was supposed to be and used good strong hangers, but the material quality was garbage. I was painting my tailpipes very 3 months trying to stop the rust.

I'm curious to see if I notice any gains on the dyno. Butt dyno was inconclusive, but the cutout sounds a lot louder which I guess is a plus

Like Jonny said though it WAS sealed - just looked like utter crap If I would have been able to get the exhaust in, I probably would have just left it since it wouldn't show much under the car. But I couldn't get the pipe in without cutting that section out anyway.

Well S&K used to do good work...my dad's exhaust on his E-150 still looks great.

Are you putting your Corsa Clones back on?

Yeah I hadn't updated the thread but I had the Corsa clones put back on last Saturday. Took it to the Mr Muffler on Hall Rd and Card and they did a GREAT job. They centered the tips as much as possible but it was hard for him to do since someone welded the pipe for the exhaust tips directly to the muffler instead of using the clamps. It was still worth the $100 but man S&K Muffler did NOT make the job any easier.
