The other day the SES light came on my car and tonight I scanned it and it was p0507 high idle/high idle searching.
After doing some research it sounds like this is a pretty vague code. Obviously it is something with the intake. Many people assume its the IAC but most threads that are started in Ls1 or Ls1tech never seem to be followed up after getting the situation resolved.
The car has idled high since I have gotten the car.. After starting it up it will idle fine, but after driving it for a while and then shifting into neutral it will hang at about 1700rpm and then eventually drop back down to about 800rpm. The RPM's do not jump around at all, its the same situation every time.
I have been advised that maybe I need to clean the MAF, I figure that cleaning the entire intake system may help.
I am hoping someone has some experience with this problem so I am not on a wild goose chase. If I am however this month is the end of the season for me as bow season starts October 1st.
If anyone could help it would be great.

The car is a 1999 LS1 M6. P/P Throttle Body, LS6 Intake, and full bolt ons and it was tuned by frost.
