  • Long Tube fitment concerns

So I'm probably getting these Pacesetter Quick-trip Long tubes for my 96.

What modifying will need to be done to fit these if any? Right now the exhaust is stock with the exception of removed cats and a flowmaster muffler out back. Are these a solid choice for a mild street/strip car? Anyone run these currently?
Mostly concerned about the fitment though. I know headers can be a PITA but I've never installed them on a crammed up LT1, just older muscle cars and what not with good compartment space.
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pacesetters have been known for years to be one of the best fittings headers you can buy for the fbodys. I run them, dropped right in zero modification required.

Awesome. I heard they are a really good choice for fitment. Some people said I might as well replace the stock motor mounts with some poly's while I'm down there, and run better gaskets and header bolts rather than the ones supplied. Are the supplied ones sufficient or should I upgrade??
Thanks again guys, really appreciate it!

with the 3 sets of headers ive done, i've always used the copper header gaskets. torque them down, go thru a heat cycle, torque them one more time and they lasted nicely
