Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

the loudmouth exhaust is crazy loud, I will say that first and foremost. All the other mods like the lid, bellows, air induction etc... could be bought used or from other brands/vendors for cheaper, but most people do those mods first to their cars.

this is the first mistake any f body owner can make, don't get sucked into the SLP hype do a lot more research before you end up rebuying parts please.
Don't get me wrong. I love my Loudmouth and personally I don't think its too loud but it does make alot of noise resonate into the car between 1400-1800rpms where you are generally cruising. It was on the car when I bought it though. If I was to purchase different exhaust I would probably go with Magnaflow or Borla.

depends what your preference is. I love my exhaust its a flowmaster with no cat. it sounded really good. recently upgraded to pace setter long tube headers and it made it a little louder.
The bad part is you will piss off neighbors if you leave early or come home late.
Or the good part if you want to piss off the neighbors come on at 1-2 AM and always do a 3000 to 4000 rev 2-3 times before you shut off car.

personally if it was me, I'd go with a borla exhaust and keep everything quiet for those late nights but put on electric cutouts for when you feel like being loud. Plus it doesn't leave a good first impression with a girlfriend's parents, but after school be loud as hell.
Just something I'd do.
Ya i have an A4. So if i plan to do headers later on and off road y pipe, the loudmouths will sound like shit?
it will drone like no other, rattle the cheap GM interior pieces etc.. I like my magnaflow (pretty tame cruising around, sounds good at WOT) and I open up my electric cutout when I want her really screaming loud. (I have longtubes and ORY) Manual cars can make it work because they shift when they want, with autos like ours you can't really do much when the car gets in the droning RPM range..

I didn't do my research when I first started buying mods and fell into SLP hype. Have you decided on what headers your getting??
