  • My computer just threw a lean code at me...

hi, I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and might know what could be the cause of the lean code... maybe an intake leak or something.. idk just need some advice.

Without doing some data logging on the motor, it'll be a little hard to diagnose with only the code. Could be anything from a misfire, O2 sensor going bad, vacuum leak, fuel pump, etc.

That could be a bunch of stuff

Easy way to tell if it's a vacuume leak is to get come carb cleaner and spray it around the vacuume lines and intake gaskets and see if the car raises the RPM's.

Is it a lean code for bank one and two? or just one bank?

it was on bank b (passenger side)
I hope it is just an o2 sensor...
