i have a 91 formula 305tpi with the N10 dual cats setup. would putting a cutout right after the cats(at the beginning of the I pipe) make a differnce on my car? i have a 3in exhuast but with a quite muffler.

sorry not trying to jack your tread. but i had the same question.

if you have a decent exhaust a cutout will usually just shift your power band a little higher in the RPMs.

no problem, why after the cats, wouldnt you gain more from before them?
Unless theyre High-Flow then it dosnt matter really, my exhuast turned out nice.

i have dual cats that after the cat they go into the i pipe. so thats the closest spot torwards the exhuast i could put it.

if i had the money i would have hooker shorties with a y-pipe with a electric cutout in place of the cat. and then a 3in magnaflow catback
