Hey guys, been messing with the car more, just got sick and tired of the huge Dual system I had on it.
For Port Hurons cruise night I chopped off the old system right infront of the axle, then ordered some Headman long tube headders to replace the old setup.
Here is an idea what the old system did, cutting off the portion i did effected it so much i had to change the tune on the car got rid of three 90 degree bends on one side alone!!!
Enjoy the art work...lol
Old system with Hooker Shortys

as you can see it was a large setup and couldn't breath too well. Also had a constant collector leak because of the sheer weight of the system.
The new setup is Headman long tubes with a pair of dynomax turbo mufflers. I went with dynomax because they flow so well even though they are quiet compared to most, that and the neighbors where complaining as it was about the car being loud. Now it has a nice low rumble at idle and screams well up high.

Here are a few pic's i'll get some better ones when i get it back on the lift to replace the stall next weekend but they did a great job keeping it as tight as possibal, they tossed the mufflers in the small cubby right under the seats. It is no lower than my old setup really. Sounds great and breaths very well, not choking off like it use to in the higher 7000+ rpm range...

Now i just need the rest of the nasty new header paint smell to burn away and i'm set... looks like i need to clean up the underbody when i have it up aswell... friken michigan.
