What do you reccomend? The 3rd and 5th looks the best, but a bit exspensive.

you wont feel ANYTHING from just doing a CAI. you'll need some headers and more exhaust work to feel a difference. now if you really want to go all out. get a CAI, intake manifold, headers, delete the cat, and throw on a quality muffler of your choice.

I noticed a huge difference with just a cold air intake on my LT1. I noticed the difference the moment I started the car up. I highly recommend upgrading. I wouldn't buy those ebay ones. At the very least I would just go to the parts store and make your own pipes, and get a K&N filter. I will be selling my K&N kit in the spring if you don't have one by then.

ok well not to judge you or anything or to contest what you felt but i think it was mostly dreamed up power. haha. ya sure it can't hurt to put one on but i dont think there is a considerable ground breaking improvement without improving the entire air induction and exhaust system. hey it's just my opinion. and i know i really can't speak for what you felt but it's just what i believe.

Well, right now the cat has been removed, I am going to remove the mufflers this spring and run a glasspack unless I have a little extra money I will be doing a true duals setup or maybe a cat back setup, Im looking for headers, and intake Im not sure... Then next Spring I should have cam/head package in it.

well judging by that I'd say YES you will see an improvement no doubt. it's all about efficient air flow. ok well not ALL but it is important. haha

The throttle response improved significantly and you will notice an improvement. The stock intake pipes on an LT1 are very very restrictive. The throttle response is the most noticeable improvement.

Hell, I felt a nice increase when I put the two K&N filters in my car. Then again, it's pretty much got a factory cold-air intake...and I have headers, no cat, and a low-restriction muffler.

U feel a slight difference with a CAI not much more HP though. If u wanna feel a big difference put that headers full exhaust on thatll let it breath a lot better i cant wait to do headers. i have the K&N CAI and its pretty nice but ull def. need to get a cat back system with a free flow exhaust ull notice a nice difference with that to.

                          yup I agree #2 also.
Heck I paid $230.00 for my "cold air induction system"
But on Pontiacs.......the stock one was a big bottle neck.

When I put on my Lid and K&N I didn't really notice anything other than it making the motor louder and a nice sucking sound. I'm sure it did something but I hardly think you could feel a 10hp increase.

I second that... it wasnt until I put my new intake manifold on that I noticed something.
