I removed all my emissions stuff. It cleans up the engine bay and frees up a little bit of power

Emissions?? , We don't need no Stinkin Emissions!!!!! Anything close to stock that may have been in that car is long gone. Shortblock is from a late 60's vette, everything else is Aftermarket. No such thing as Emissions.

I've removed AIR, EGR, Cats, rear o2's. No issues at all. Shoot, a couple of the later years didn't even have the EGR. I believe it was 01 and 02.

So removing O2 sensors is that a matter of just unplugging them or do you need a tune and all that jazz afterwards?

The O2 sensors after cats are used to let the computer know that your cats are working. The ones before the cats are the only ones that the computer uses to run the engine from what I know. You may get a code thrown, but it shouldn't affect the way the engine runs. In my situation the rear o2s are tuned out with my OBD1 swap. I will be ditching my air, egr, and cats this winter.
