I'd do it myself, do the research, make sure it was done right, but that's just me.

I figured you guys would tell me to do it myself but like I said the only factor here is time. Aside from that I will not be paying 900 for the install because I'm working out a "deal" with my dad (yes Im spoiled) Getting it installed makes him "feel" better and less stressed. I am so undecided though because I want to learn this stuff myself and know how to do it all. After March I will not have the Jimmy anymore since my bro will be driving it so I have until early March which is when I wanna drive the car again anyways to get it all done. I just don't know if it fits in between work and school. If I do end up doing it I will be sure to let you all know so we can make a party out of it lol.

Oh yeah forgot to mention Adrian I'm changing everything except for the rockers. Oil pump, timing chain, ect. as well as headers and ORY and installing a FAST 90/90 setup, so it may take another half a day or so.

I'd say add a little more then just a half day. Probably more like a day or two, but besides....its still not going to be bad. What kind of lifters are you getting? You should really post up your entire "bag of tricks" to include all the parts you're installing. The Fast 90/90 won't make any differences, its a simple swap.

Hey, I'd also love to come down and help you out! I'm coming from Ann Arbor, so I should be able to come out for a day. I gotta say though, this really shouldn't be very hard at all! But like I said before, you should post up everything that you're installing. I can also bring my degreeing kit as well, so we can degree in your cam perfectly, and check PtoV clearances. Make sure you have all the gaskets/bolts/rtv(high-temp)/loctite (blue/red tubes)/tools lined up ect... Also make sure you ahve that three-prong pulley puller, that will be key. Anyways...., post up that list, and let us all know where and when to meet!

                              Best Regards,
                              Adrian
