Problem With Header Install.

actually i did it before i istalled my headers. Ive read that you can actually see 1/4 gains from them even stock and theyre only like 35 bucks.

I changed the gasket and it seems to be better.

make sure you torque the bolts down good. you cant have any leaks. if you do, youll blow the gasket right back out again. dont overtorque them either. busting a bolt in an aluminum head would not be good!

I also had a loose plug I had them all tight when I did the wires but it was loose so I tightened that up and hope that it fixs it. thanks for the help.

no problem, i remember a loose plug was also one of my problems. hope its all set for you now. I dont know about youre car but mine had to adjust to the headers. when i first put them on I felt no gain whatsoever, i even thought it felt slower. but after a few passes at the track it was shooting through first gear so fast i wasnt ready for the shifts

pacesetter headers and stock wires will fry on the driver side last 2 plugs. You need the insulator booties or over the valvecover wires looms and custom wires... You have a melted wire i bet on it!

No melted wires I checked. And the driver side has all kinds of room its the other side thats tight.
