it was a year old, but i hear these boxes are very tempermental so anything coulda killed it

yea thats why i have thought about buying a used box in the past but decided to pass that up cause of you never know when it could go bad.

What is your ignition setup Sean? Did you buy a different setup or go with the same one?

full msd, 6al box, billet dist, and blaster 2 coil

just went and picked up the new box

this may not be at all like your setup so i dunno, but its how most of the carbed cars ive worked on work. make sure that the wires from the distributor are going to your ignition box. then you should have another set, probably green and red or green and black running from that, which will goto the coil. the green is also the tach signal wire, without that hooked up, it wont signal the car to fire
