I use ion at mad tuner and he did a great job. Everyone here is a huge dr phil fan but your a little far from Detroit it looks like.

Phil for the most part will NOT tune an LT1 that isn't 24x anyways.

That seems to be an issue with LT1's. Its difficult finding someone local to tune them. Mail order might be the best option for you.

Yeah, in your case I'm not sure who is local for a local street/dyno tune so I'd recommend going with a quality mail order tuner. I've heard good things about Joe (I think that was his name? @popo8 ) at PCMforLess.com

Actually, its Bryan Herter at PCM for less. You have to specifically ask for him, or else Keith will be doing the mail order tune. Although Keith is ok, Bryan is excellent.

B, you were thinking Joe, cause that was the surrogate tunner for my car in NJ, that was on line with Herter while my car got the last tune.

Bryan at pcmforless did mine before Phil did and he said it was actually a pretty decent tune. Pcmforless has done so many bolt on lt1 tunes, I'm sure you'll be happy with your results.

I have used both pcmforles and solomon.....both with decent results. Solomon is fairly close to u and I believe does some street tunes. You would be wsy happier with that over mailorder. Mail order can be hit or miss, it will usually get u on the road.....not always had a shitty mail order tune once from pcmforless.....he left out my new injectors in the tune! Best if the tuner can actuslly get his hands on your car. Results will be way better

Should be fine. I pull my EEPROM and flash a new tune without disconnecting the battery
