Easiest way to eliminate the switch is go to shbox.com look up wire diagram for switches. Pull white thing (as you called it) off the switch and jumper appropriate wires to raise the window, if still not going up swiths is ok and motor bad. You can also check continuity of switch with white plug off the back of switch.

I agree, try jumping power and ground to the motor first before wasting money on a switch.

Ill try jumping that switch today after school. I just need to hook up a battery charger to some wire and put them in the according holes?
hopefully it is just a switch

Like I said - never heard of a switch going bad...

So chances are good that it's the switch, but I highly doubt it

Well while I was at school my mom went ahead and bought a new switch from autozone. I pickedup it a little bit ago swapped the switch and the window went up fine and then back down, I pulled the new switch the get the old one out of the plastic trim. Did that and replaced the new switch again. Nada.

P.s when you push the button to make the window go down it makes a weird noise that ssounds like its coming fromunder the dashboard and when you try push the switch up it makes a noise (very faint) coming from in the door panel by the speaker assy. Area.

              HELP!

Sounds like the motor is tired. The window on my cargo van will go up after sitting for a long time...you get one shot to bring the window up, after that it will only go down for the rest of the day

yeah I forgot about that - you let it sit for awhile and then the motor all of the sudden has the oomph to work right.

Maybe. Start looking for a new setup or motor. Link below is a new motor, haven't heard anything good or bad about them though. I usually rebuild all my motors.
