Check to see if your sensors are pluged in and clean.

Do you have headers? If you do, they may be burning a wire.

My light wouldnt go off so I pulled the bulb...best few hours I have spent on the car this summer.

With my 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood with LT1, that light used to come on all of the time until I changed out the Opti-Spark. Every time the Opti-Spark was going bad that light was on.

i second that. somehow in my project this winter, i lost both of the wires for the wheel speed sensors up front. APS inop light is always on, and the BRAKE light turns on after i hit like 20mph or something

I think everyone should always try and fix the problem before pulling a bulb.

That being said in some scenarios pulling a bulb is just the thing to do. In my case my car has not once locked up the front brakes to need ABS, I dont drive the car in winter, and I think my headers burnt the wire going to the front left hub - too expensive and time consuming to fix with minimal pay back. Took two hours to pull some bulbs and consider it one of my best mods.

I know im going on a bulb pulling spree this winter. Sick of it being lit up like a christmas tree when there are no actual problems with my car.

That rule they have is a bunch of crap. By erasing a code they did not fix anything, They make it sound like it is illegal to clear a code. That is why I bought my own scanner.
