    And I just thought I was cursed. I used a yellow top for about a year with constant issues. Finally gave up (due to the cheeper price) and bought a Duralast Gold and haven't had an issue. Glad to see it wasn't just me.

    BTW - the whole christmas look comment - I had the same issue too (red and black engine bay with a yellow bettery) - covered it in a sheet of black vinyl, no more multi-colored engine bay.

        My dad had an interstate in our 92 suburban, it was in there for about ten years until we sold it two years ago and I talked to the new owner and it still has the same battery in it. My camaro came with that same battery when I bought it almost three years ago and i have high hopes for it. Very impressed with interstate

          Eh, just an "exploader"... Not worth the money or time. Now if it were my Honda Spree on the other hand...

                          Yeah the Optima's are made by Interstate but built in Mexico. I work for Interstate and wouldn't touch one, That and I'm not a fan of sealed Batteries.
                          The Interstate Megatron (MT) and Megatron Plus (MTP) series are much better IMO and are made in the USA.
