More like DON'T USE MSD in my case My brand new set arcs right through the boot on #1, and I got zapped big time when I adjusted the distributor timing....pure junk.

im in fear of the opti. i just replaced 5 and 6. and to be honest 5 wasnt bad and i thought fixing 6 would solve 5 because its next inline. but alas i changed wires and plugs on both and to no avail. im thinking it might need opti number 3. f'ing junk im actually kind of pist off. owell no use crying over spilt milk gonna have to try a few little things and if they dont work out comes the opti. strange how the original lasted 130,000 miles and 2 of them cant last 5,000 miles. shoot the first replacement didnt even last 5 minutes after startup. means the 2nd one was free but i still had to pull and replace the danm thing.

wow sorry for the mini rant

My OTVCs work perfectly fine with no issues. *knock on wood* I really like the side mount that was in the previous link to Thunder Racing though - the OTVC makes the valve covers look messy.

Pics? I just bought a set of OTVC wires to install when I put on my headers. . . I've seen them on other cars (older cars), and they looked pretty good, but I haven't seen any pics of them on an F-Body yet. . .

Yeah, I see what you mean. Better than worrying about the wires being burned by the headers though. With those, you'd really only have to worry about melting the boots, and solving that problem has been covered by a couple people in this thread. . .

It definitely looks different, and would serve to set your car apart at car shows, I guess.

Ive run that thunder racing OTVC kit on my car for 8 years with no problems. I even burned a wire, taped it up, and kept running them. Yes..........................8 years, no misses. Eric L
