I used More Power Inc. out in Grand Rapids. Just make sure you double and triple check the block once you get it back from the machine shop, and get a good balance job. It sounds like you have a good idea of what you want for the heads. Just make sure your valvetrain is strong as well (NSA rockers, 7/16" studs, chromoly pushrods, etc.) So by all means go and spend the extra on the bottom end

yes you will need guideplates. i recommend the Isky adjustables (which are a pain in the ass) or the basic trickflows. A stud girdle isn't necessary but 7/16" studs definately are. I also recommend Comp Pro Mags or Ultra-Mags over an aluminum body roller rocker. LS7 lifters are a good choice as are Morels.
EDIT: You are planning on a hydraulic roller application right? or else all of that info is useless lol

no im talking about the comp pro mags. look at summit online. if you need any valvetrain parts i have a lot of misc. hydraulic roller stuff. rockers, lifters, chromoly pushrods, etc. pm me if anything is wanted.
Have you gotten your cam specs from LE yet? if you dont mind, post the specs, im interested to see in which direction he is going with his new stuff and what LSA he went with for your build.

too hot? how do you figure? those are nitrous plugs for the most partOriginally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostI run NGK TR6s. TR55s were too hot for my car.
I run tr-55's but gap them at .035" (found this gives me the best results with my setup.
A lof of people also run autolite 103 or 104s IIRC
