Ok, lets start at this point. If car starts ok and when you rev. it the voltage drops right? when you start it what is the voltage reading? After a start its normal for volt meter to go to 15 - 17 volts to recharge battery. then should drop to 12.5 -13.0 volts and be consistant. after watching internal gauge, check at the battery then at the alternator. when measuring first put meter on neg term of battery, then move neg. to term post on wheel well, the meter should read the same. If it doesn't you have a bad ground connection. There are two grounds that are the main one's. One on wheel well by battery, and one from battery connected to motor mount bracket bolt. when you do this turn off your radio and any power amp in the car.
Let me know what you find out then we'll go the next step if its not a ground.
