Misfire o boy, story!!

Go to take her out of the uncles barn and she is acting weird, figure its just cold. So i change oil (Pennzoil Platinum is SO NICE, no more M1 for me) and get it all ready to go. Check the codes and sure as shit a misfire on Cylinder 6!! I have no tools no nothing, I'm an hour away from Bay City. Decide to drive it to my cabin which is close to Big Rapids. Get her there and she backfired 4-5 times, nothing real bad. Went 60 ALL the way back. Went to BED since i was pissed, tired, and hungry.

This morning brings me out to a 60 degree day. I start looking at wires and sure as shit plug wire 6 some how hit the header and smoked her. Go into autozone and cant buy just one so had to buy all 8 stock wires!! I decide to go and pull the spark plug to make sure its good. HUGE MISTAKE. It took 2 hours (mind you i didn't have my tools and searched for an hour) anyway busted my knuckles 5 or 6 times but ill be damned if i finally got it, only to see that she is PREFECT.

Looks like its plugs and wire time for the ole girl. I will be returning the wires later this week and getting MSD's from LS1TECH, unless one of the sponsors can help hook me up?!?

At least it was something simple like a burned up wire. You dont' even want to know the luck I've had with the '94 lately. Get it back together after doing head gaskets and now not even 2 weeks later the timing cover is leaking!!!

When you go to change your plugs pull the coil packs/brackets. It may take a few mins to get the last bolt out of the passenger side of the bracket but trust me its going to make changing the plugs easy as hell.

And on a side note I never put the last bolt back in the bracket so now it only takes me maybe 5 mins from start to finish to change all the plugs on the passanger side.

^^^ O thats great news!! lol well right now I have to get a new run light housing cause there must have been condensate in it and she melted the bulb and housing. Wondering if i should upgrade to LED's?

If not msd's then what would you guys suggest?

Oh the 10 bolt I had tore apart the night of and had it put together in like 4 hours the next day. Rocking some 3.73's now! This f'n V6 with the head gaskets going out and 2 weeks later the timing cover gasket going out is pissing me off. I'm about ready to say screw it and put a small block in the damn thing! I have just about everything except the Kmember and headers.

stock ls1 or you can get the slighty longer red ls2 wires is what I like

Not right now. Since my car is so clean I'm going to do a small cam, headers, and a few other bolt ons and call it good. Once the gf pics up a new DD I'm turning the '94 into my project. It's only worth like $1500 so its not worth selling. It's super solid and the perfect base for a street/strip car being a hard top.
