the gain is RPM dependent. The more RPM you are spinning a stock waterpump, the more it drags on the motor. An electric pump has a constant flow, so the drag (on the altenator) remains the same. The 10 horsepower which most people claim exists only in the ballpark of 5000 - 6000 RPM. At lower RPMs it wont be noticeable.Originally posted by Bad_Z28 View Post-Joel
