The shift points don't really give you a whole lot. I tried to change them and played around while I was at the drag strip with different shift points. It didn't make any difference in my times. I just use the shift firmness at 100% and bumped the rev limiter by 200rpm's. I had reset my computer when I was having problems and never bothered tweaking the shift points again. It's pretty much a hit or miss trial and error deal. If you tweak it too much then you'll hit the rev limiter before it will shift and then you have to lift to get it to shift.

yea the reason they give you that is if you have a cam that gives you more upper rpm power you can utilize that but if you have a pretty stock setup then there isnt much you can gain from it.
