you guys pulling plug wires on a dis system is sooooo bad for it. buy a cheap spark plug and jumper wire set with aligator clips put one wire from the coil to the top of the plug one from the tread to the block and test that way. Yes you can ohm out the coil packs.sigpic

tower to tower like 12k ohms about +/- 5k and the pins on the bottem like .5 to 1.5 ohms use a paper clip for the bottem ones. not 100% on the specs sorry close to that should be good.sigpic
