    lol i did that once but did it from the distributor on my ford probe got shocked everyfrikin time. boys was i pissed... but it worked

      you guys pulling plug wires on a dis system is sooooo bad for it. buy a cheap spark plug and jumper wire set with aligator clips put one wire from the coil to the top of the plug one from the tread to the block and test that way. Yes you can ohm out the coil packs.

          tower to tower like 12k ohms about +/- 5k and the pins on the bottem like .5 to 1.5 ohms use a paper clip for the bottem ones. not 100% on the specs sorry close to that should be good.

            thanks man, what do you from tower to tower, on a multi meeter i should just hook up the + to the coil pack and then just ground my negative lead from my multi meeter on the engine right?

                check the coil pak terminals for corrosion

                  the spec for tower to tower is 5-8k ohms.
