With the little I know about his setup, I can guarantee it was if the PCM had the stock tune.

Yes the check engine light was definitely on. I emailed him back and going to go from there. There's a dead line that I need to get the car tuned and ready to race, there's a shootout I'm entered in on the 17th hence the urginancy. The car is going to be a grudge car so I do not want to post all the specs.

wouldn't hurt to give Motor City Speed a call, worse case is your waiting on Phil, ohh don't forget to change your O2 Sensor and wouldn't hurt to take a spare with you.

I'd replace both, keep the functioning one as a backup. A decent cam requires less fuel down low, might have fouled one and the other may not be far behind. I'm sure he changed the VE table accordingly to get the idle dialed in.

With enough overlap, the o2's may be useless anyway. The Dr would know. There are a few ways to get closed loop on large overlap cams, but might have to run an open loop idle. For what it's worth, my IROC reads over 18:1 AFR at idle Much trickier with the antiquated '165 ECM.

Maybe I am taking it the wrong way but if someone like my self drove all that way, had a bad o2 sensor he wouldnt help me change real quick I would be pissed.

I got better help from Ricky in the Walgreens parking lot at the dream cruise.

If an o2 sensor was the only problem I'm sure it would be tuned already...

Lol he told me to get new 02's and fix the exhaust leak and bring it back. So wouldn't he of told me to fix more things if there was issues? We did have to take the plugs out and sandblast them because they were fouled. He also *****ed how it was a 98 PCM and they're a pain in the ass. He wanted to do a close loop but couldn't because of the 02's and also couldn't tell what the fuel/air was without them so he didn't know if they fuel table was way off or what.

Isnt that because it broke the first 2?
