I can think of something else that controls line pressure. How about the hd2 shift kit thats installed in the trans with the 1-2 shift set kinda hard. Yes the hd2 kit will not set the pressure high enough to do this alone. But add even a little added pressure from a tune and its a different story. The tune sean installed in the car was never ment to be a long term tune just get the car to shift and tune it later. Later never happend and now we get to swap the trans case and get the car back one the road and get it tuned. Like curtis said we had the servo out a few times and its possible that we could have damaged the case then. Maybe is was just a random case failure or maybe your right and it was line pressure related. But to blame the tuner without knowing the story behind trans and tune is stupid.

An HD2 doesn't exactly raise the pressure. It allows for more fluid movement. The whole point of a shift kit is to allow more volume through the valve body so you can get firmer shifts without raising the pressure as much.

But I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. What do I care. Its not even my car!

Listen here, a HD2 shift kit does raise Line pressure, thats why it comes with a boost valve.

Secondly, the car has stock tune in it with some stuff disabled becuase it is a swap car. It is a stock tune for a 2000 F car.

thirdly, stop blaming me for all your problems, its annoying and infantile.

if you put garbage in, you get garbage out. same goes for the cars you build. If you drag junk to the dyno, don't expect magic to fix it.
