I never said it was his particular problem, but it is surely something to look into. Is it also bullshitting if we give other suggestions as to what may have happened?

When I first built the car I had a ECM in it with a t56 tune. I needed a automatic tune to drive the car. So Sean threw a tune in it that he already had. The tune was for I'm guessing a mild canned car. Cause the car always would idle high. And surge a little bit. But this was 2 years ago. I had the servo out many times because I couldn't get 4th gear to work. It ended up being the valve body. I'm doing a paint job for Sean and he's supposed to tune both my cars and some other work. But I don't know what to do now.

Yes... to much line pressure is more than likely the issues. It has to do with the tune directly. Do you understand this? The fact that Sean is known to jack the line pressure up in his 4L60 cars just solidifys it...

Line pressure is what blows the snap ring off 99.9% of the time. Line pressure is controlled by the tune... Maybe I'm not understanding what your saying?

All I know is this shouldn't happen. I got another case. I now need to pull the Trans and swap all the internals. Anyone know where I should take it. I don't want it to happen again.

Rich @ Detroit Gearbox should be able to help you out. Hes a sponsor on Motown Muscle. I don't think we have a transmission sponsor on this site anymore.
erk2581 should be able to chime in and tell you how much it costs. He had Rich swap a case for him last fall.

No I mean where should I take it to be tuned? I can take care of the Trans myself.

I'd be a little iffy on taking it to Livernois. They appeared to pull a bait and switch at the Rodgers Chevrolet show 2012 by disgustingly underrating the dyno calibration so they could talk people into bringing their cars to the shop and show massive gains. Just seemed really shady.
