    Hey guys -

I am getting some coolant dripping off the front of the block intermittently. I am ASSuming it's the pump, but even if it's a gasket and I have to yank the pump, it's probably just best that I replace it and consider it good.

What do you suggest for a good replacement? I've read they basically all suck.

    Rockauto:
    ACDELCO Part # 252846 - $105
    ACDELCO Part # 251744 - $175
    ACDELCO Part # 251722 - $248

They also have the cheaper brands - Pronto ($75), Bosch ($95)

Or, should I just look at one of the local parts houses:
Oreilly: Masterpro ($113), Masterpro Select ($137)
    Autozone: Duralast ($138)

I am kind of leaning towards one of the Delcos, but what's the difference?

Never heard about any of them "sucking" put a parts store generic on my car years ago, no problems. Did our Sierra a few years back, no problems there either.

My basis for the "sucking" comment was a few thread on Tech - people complaining that the Bosch they bought leaked within a few months, someone had a pulley grenade, others had weeping within a year or two after replacement, etc.
