Hey,
ok.. now don't judge me for being stupid here haha.. this is not Camaro related.. but it IS car related.. I have a 2008 Cobalt SS.. and it comes with Brembo 4 piston front calipers.. which is awesome.. as long as you know that you are supposed to remove the pins that hold the brake pads in place ever once and awhile and lube them up.. which I didn't know
so I did some reading online and said that I should just be able to tap them out with a punch and a hammer.. well.. that did not work for me..so I soaked them in PB blaster.. then heated them.. and clamped onto them with a pair of vice grips to see if I could get them to twist at all.. bad move.. broke the pins in half.. they came out the front side.. but the back side were siezed.. so I kept working at them.. more PB and heat.. and I now snap the head off too...
.. at this point I get the bright idea to drill them out.. and see if they are hallow if it will make them easier to punch out.. again.. didn't work.. at this point.. I am pretty pissed off..
so instead of ruining a $300+ brembo caliper.. does anyone here know of a place or person who could professionally drill these out for me so that I can drive my car again?
