what i'm thinking is pulling my motor out of my car, rebuilding it and putting my stock heads back on. buying an intake, fuel rails, injectors, wire harness, computer and transmission and putting it in. probly with some long tubes, but stock motor. or a friend of mine has a complete pull out from a 2000 trans am. might buy that and throw it in.

does anyone know this? the car is a 98, but if i have a 99 and up complete setup, computer, harness, engine and trans, will it work? i know the 98 is different with a few things.

i'll get pictures up asap. its the deep blue color. has stock exhaust. stock z28 rims with really good tires. tan leather interior, but the seats are all cracked to hell.. that might be going black leather from my silver car, and then some different racing type seats in the silver car.

I think everything from a 99 should work. The main issue with the 98's were the ECU pins are different from the 99-02. As long as the PCM is from the 99 you're good unless you want to do some repinning.

so the car has been sitting in the unit, havent had time to touch it. out on vacation. have a motor/trans combo coming from new jersey, should be here friday. when i get back from florida on saturday hoping to get to work on it! everything is stock on the car. think i should go with solid motor mounts or stock replacement motor mounts? the car needs new seats, the leather is torn on these ones. is it worth re doing the seats or buying complete replaacements?
