The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Levi, go to Autozone and rent a pilot bearing puller - should only take a few wacks to get it out. Tap the new one in. Did it come with a bearing or bushing?
Do this^ The tool is made for it and works like a charm. I re-used my flywheel and pressure plate bolts and haven't had any issues.
What brand clutch did you get? I recommend measuring the thickness before re-installing. I had a RAM clutch and I pulled my trans 3 times before figuring out that the clutch was the reason it wouldn't disengage (too thick!). Better to take a few minutes and check than go through the headache I did!

Yup i plan on grabbing that tool tomorrow. I went with Competition Clutch, Stage 2. I have some ARP Flywheel bolts, but I plan on re-using the pressure plate bolts since those only torque to like 22ftlbs.
Ok everyone, thanks for all of the replies!! The swap went pretty smooth untill we had to put the trans back in, lost about 3 qts of fluid and then it down poured and water came into the garage and made a nice mess but in the end everything worked and clutch feels great, just gotta start breaking it in before woodward.
