I agree with Larry - your problem was the MAF was bad and the plugs kept fouling out. You replaced the MAF which fixed the code - now your car isn't throwing the MAF code, I would think with new plugs you'd be OK?- Brian Meissen

bigger injectors will be fine they just need to be tuned properly, if you add a set of heads down the road you'll be upgrading injectors again anyways.Doing less with more

Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator with a Fuel Pressure Gauge? Dial down on the fuel pressure. Twas what I had to do. Bought myself a matched set (within 1%) of Ford 19 pound Injectors (Fords way of rating) installed. Ran rich. During the tune, we kept dialing back on the fuel pressure. Normally with 19's, fuel pressure should be 43 to 45 pounds. I'm at 37 pounds on the fuel pressure now.
Another thing I've read. No way of knowing if true or not. Ford's method of rating injectors output differs from GM's way. 19 pound Fords would measure out at near 21 pounds using GM's way of measuring.
Just some extra thoughts Larry.

the last part of your post is highly debated. It depends on the injector manufacturer, and I cant speak for the red tops. I know that my Ford (Bosch) green tops flowed 42 lbs @ 3 bar even tho these are a ford injector and "should" flow moreOriginally posted by squareandcompass View PostAdjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator with a Fuel Pressure Gauge? he does not have an adjustable FPR so any changes need to be done within the tune itself.Doing less with more

36's would probably be nice for when you install those 243's and a bigger cam too.Originally posted by kammi10 View Postexactly.. i told you this yesterday larry.. either way u will need a tune.. might as well keep the 36's even tho you already bought a set of 28's
